playence Crowd

The crowd sourcing solution is designed for large amounts of user-generated multimedia. playence uses its technology combined with human computation via casual, social games to create video descriptions. This enables search and contextual video advertising.

Solution

The annotation of user-generated video typically requires substantial manual input. First, we pre-process the content with our annotation backend in order to create as many annotations automatically as possible. The manual input is acquired though online casual games by hiding the task of annotation behind online games. The output of the games in then translated into semantic annotations in the gaming backend.

playence crowd is the solution for owners of user-generated multimedia content. Data produced by playence crowd can enable contextual advertising for multimedia.
