General Summary

playence seeks Project Leader with experience in Product development to join our engineering team and help us manage the multicultural, multisite, growing engineering staff. Successful candidates have a proven track record as Project Leaders and count with the willingness and ability to take responsibility and lead.

Responsibilities

Manage, lead and direct the engineering team.
Meet deadlines and manage customer engagements internationally.
Actively contribute to the further development of our portfolio.
Periodically report to the CTO about the status of projects and achievements.
Be proactive in solving problems.

Experience/Skills

BSc, MSc or PhD in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent), preferred.
Solid software development knowledge and experience as Project Leader.
Familiarity with Scrum methodology is a plus.
Familiarity with release management is a plus.
Willingness and ability to take responsibility and lead.
Strong customer orientation, experience in product development and dealing with customers.
Dynamic individual who feels comfortable in a cross-cultural setting with a get done attitude.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. German and/or Spanish are a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally at least 10% of the time.

Work authorization required (candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the country in which the position is domiciled).
